New online casino in New Jersey

The online casino market has been added up by a new name – MoheganSunCasino that is the online version of the Connecticut based Mohegan Sun. The online branch uses software provided by NYX Gaming and what is weird about it, is the fact, that it is licensed to provide service in New Jersey. The explanation is simple, but not trivial: the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority that operates the land-based Mohegan Sun, took over the management of the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City and now the online Mohegan Sun is on the same platform as ResortsCasino.com.

Another thing that seems weird is that the Mohegan Sun brand is much more recognizable in New Jersey, than the Atlantic City's Borgata. That's the information that comes from Resorts director of interactive marketing Lee Terfloth. The regional marketing research showed that the Mohegan Sun name is well-known.

In June, internet gaming win for Resorts was $400,600 and that’s some very nice growth a short period of time.

Together with the Mohegan Sun, there are 17 licensed online gambling sites in New Jersey. They offer games like slots, roulette, video poker and blackjack – the classic list.
