Pan-European Consumer Protection Agreement

eCORGA, the independent online gaming watchdog, has welcomed new Pan-European Consumer Protection agreement brought forward by the CEN, the European Committee for Standardization that is officially recognized by the EU.

A joint press release from eCORGA and CEN was issued today welcoming the workshop agreement on "Responsible Remote Gambling Measures".

The agreement has 9 major policy objectives that set out to protect European Union online players and describes over 130 measures that will provide Member States and European bodies the ability to actually meet the objectives and help create a safe and fair online gaming environment for players from all over the EU.
