Playtech Releases All-In-1 Gambling App for Android

As part of its effort to cement itself into a top position in the internet-based bingo gambling market, Playtech has launched its 1st gambling app that also includes bingo and currently only runs on the Android operating system. The app offers players several game choices including 75, 80 and 90-ball bingo variations plus Deal or No Deal Bingo and a handful of mini side games such as Clover Rollover.

One of Playtech’s goals was to create a fully integrated mobile app that allowed players to engage in all forms of legal betting including bingo, sports and casino games instead of having a separate app for each. Not only will this solution benefit the player in terms of convenience but it is also beneficial for operators. Playtech’s CEO explained that; “With mobile, the industry went back two years in terms of what operators offered customers. Until recently, most companies had one product for betting, another for casino, for poker, so they bring a lot of players through the betting application but they [the operators] can’t convert players into gaming where they make their money.”

Another one of Playtech’s objectives was to create a platform that closely resembles the platform available on PCs and laptops. While the company is still looking to improve the experience, the newly launched gaming app does include chat capabilities similar to those on the Playtech web-based platform. Playtech is quite pleased with the solution they developed for the Android platform and plan to release an HTML5 version and an iOS-based version for the iPad and iPhone in the coming months.
