Over the years myths have developed about the existence of X-ray glasses that can help players cheat in games such as
Baccarat and
Blackjack by seeing the dealer's
Hole Card.
This myth has been around ever since the release of the original
Casino Royal (1966), a James Bond film where the villain Le Chiffre used infra red sunglasses equip with X-ray capabilities to cheat Bond and other players at
Baccarat. Then in The World is not Enough (1999) another James Bond film Bond himself was using X-ray glasses when he was in the
Casino.
Of course this is only a myth and players should know that there is no such thing as X-ray glasses. X-ray stands for X-radiation which is an electromagnetic radiation and is very dangerous to be around.
