Horseshoe Baltimore casino grand opening

Baltimore is getting ready to host more then 10 000 people on the day of a new casino opening.

Horseshoe Casino - the fifth and most urban of Maryland's casinos is opening it's doors on August 26-th.

Gamblers, guests and curious local residents are expected to flood the city which will be a test for the city logistics as well as for the officials and business owners.

The opening night overlaps with football games and that adds hurdles.

The casino belongs to Caesars Entertainment Inc that has been the long time leader of casino opening and operating business and still considered to be one of the biggest.

It took 2 years to build the $442 million gambling facility that will employ about 1700 people.

2500 video lottery machines and more then 100 table games along with celebrity-chef restaurants and the Horseshoe brand's signature Jack Binion's Steakhouse.

The 14forty Bar will be an additional attraction for the locals and tourists as it will be the only bar serving drinks 24/7.
