Multiline Slots

Traditional slot machines only used to have 3-reels or 5-reels and a single line that were put on a round drum that would spin. Players would get paid if they matched symbols in a line or have hit some special rare symbol that gets a payout even when appearing on its own. The matching symbols had to appear matched on the middle line for a player to win. Multiline slots will give you many playing and betting options. You can select how many paylines you wish to play. There is no obligation to play all the paylines and you can always select to play only 1, 5, 10, etc. In addition to selecting how many paylines you want to play, multiline video slots will also enable you to select the number of coins you wish to play for each paylines and the value of each coined played.

For example: you are about to play a multi-line slot machine with 5 reels and 20 paylines. The machine allows a bet of up to 5 coins per payline and the coin sizes are €0.01, €0.02, €0.05, €0.10, €0.25, €0.50 and €1.
This means that if you select to play all 20 paylines with 1 coin per payline and a coin value of €0.05 you will be spending on every spin of the video slot: 20 x 1 x €0.05 = €1.
On the other hand if you were to select to play only 10 paylines with 5 coins per payline and a coin value of €0.10 you will be spending on every spin of the video slot: 10 x 5 x €0.10 = €5.

Many multi line slots games offer bonus rounds, free spins and prize multipliers. All these game features are built into the multiline slot machine and do not cost the player any additional coins in order to play them. Many of these special features start when the normal spinning game is over and basically provide the player with a greater chance to win more money without having to pay for it.
