The prestigious eGR B2B Awards 2011 took place this week and all the big industry hitters were in attendance at the black-tie event taking place at Chelsea Football Club in London, England and hosted by Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys.
Gaming giants Playtech, Microgaming and 888 shared great honors at each company took home two trophies in recognition of their great achievements in the past year in the area of gambling B2B service providers.
Playtech was honored for its Virtue Fusion bingo platform and received the award for Bingo Network of the Year and also received the RNG Casino Supplier of the Year award.
888 B2B division Dragonfish took the prestigious Bingo Supplier of the Year and Best Poker Software awards. One of the judges in the poker category commented that the beauty of their achievement is in making "the software usable for professional players but also made it great for beginners."
Microgaming won the award for Poker Network of the Year and an award for Innovation in Slot Provision, with the judges commenting on its "significant improvement in a tough vertical made Microgaming the stand-out winner."
Other winners include IGT and Evolution Gaming and Net Entertainment that won awards in other casino categories such as Slot Provider of the Year, Live Casino Supplier of the Year and the Innovation in RNG Casino Software.
Judges mentioned the great progress made by EveryMatrix, a white label sports betting supplier, awarding it with Sports Betting Rising Star award.
