Go Casino Tsunami Relief Tournament

The whole world stood in shock as the recent earthquake, measuring a staggering 9.0 on the Richter scale and forming the catalyst to a terrible Tsunami that swept through Japan's eastern coast with devastating effects.

The scale of the devastation is not yet fully understood as there are still people missing, but so far the death toll stands on over ten thousand people and there are thousands of people who were left homeless and reside in evacuee centers. The estimated cost to the Japanese economy currently stands at over $150 billion.

The most worrying effects of the earthquake and tsunami have been the damage to five nuclear plants and the heavy concerns over leaks in radiation. Many have been affected and those working in the plants risked their own lives to try and gain some control over the fires that were raging in some of the plants.

The whole world sat and watched in amazement as the tsunami hit the coast of Japan and the wreckage that anything in its path turned into. Many wanted to help but did not know how to.

Charitable organizations started collecting money to help victims who have lost everything they had in this natural disaster. Another group of good people that decided to try and help is the management of Go Casino.

Go Casino will run a fundraising tournament and donate 40% of all the money collected from entries to help the people of Japan. The tournament will take place between 24th to the 25th March 2011.
