Roulette Bets - Inside Bets

When playing Roulette the bets are split into two types of groups. There are inside bets and outside bets. Here we will review the types of Inside Bets, how to place them and the payouts giving for them

Roulette Straight Up Bet is placed on a single number If the Roulette lands on the number you selected you will be paid 35 times your bet.

Other inside bets are:

Split Bet where you bet on 2 numbers by placing your chips on the line between the numbers. You can do so horizontally or vertically on the betting table. If you hit one of the numbers you will be paid 17 times your wager.

Street Bet is a bet on 3 numbers on a horizontal line by placing your chips on the end line on the right or left. If you hit one of those numbers you will be paid 8 times your bet.

Corner Bet is when you place your chips on the middle meeting point of 4 numbers. This bet also pays 8 times your wager is a smarter bet with better odds than the Street bet.

Six Line Bet is where you bet on a double Street by placing your chip on the meeting point of 2 horizontal lines to left or right side of the line. When one of your numbers hits you will be paid 5 times your wager.

In European Roulette you also have the option of making another type of inside bet:

Trio bet on numbers 0,1 and 2 or 0,2 and 3. This bet pays 11 to 1.

In American Roulette you have 2 other types of bets:

Basket Bet where you bet on 0,1 and 2, or 0, 00 and 2, or 00, 2 and 3.

Top Line Bet on 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3 by placing the chip at the corner of 00 and 3 or 0 and1.

The Trio, Basket and Top Line bets are not recommended as they have the worst player winning odds out of all Roulette bets.
