The Online Casino Industry is Creating New Jobs

The online casino industry has contributed greatly to the sharp increase in programming, development and customer support employment positions available in those regions around the world where many of the large online gaming companies hold their offices and support centers.

Therefore yesterday's announcement that an online gaming company is planning on opening a studio in the Scottish city of Edinburgh in partnership with several gaming firms already located in Scotland.

The new studio will make recruit a new development team and will create new jobs in the heart of the Scottish capital.

Scotland is in the midst of enjoying a recent growth in the online gaming sector, with several software development firms and online gaming operators opening offices or relocating their entire operation to the country.

The Scottish Culture Minister, Fiona Hyslop was very excited about the new project commenting on the many employment and taxation opportunities the online gaming industry can provide Scotland with.

Hyslop also spoke on the new government strategy with regards to developing creative industries that is focused on growing talent and help make the country a "more successful country with opportunities for all to flourish."

When addressing the new studio Hyslop commented that it is the best testament to the "talent, infrastructure and cutting-edge skills Scotland has to offer".
