William Hill's Joint Venture Risk

The Problems that are brewing at William Hill lately just keep on bubbling and now William Hill has stated in their annual results meeting that the greatest challenge the company faces in the upcoming year is managing their joint venture with gaming software giant Playtech.

This comes as little surprise following the court injunction that William Hill has taken out against their William Hill Online (WHO) joint venture partners Playtech, following rumors circulating that Playtech entered into talks with William Hill's biggest rival Ladbrokes, to prevent them from continuing any such talks and by that protecting William Hill's interests and justifying their investment in the 5 year joint venture deal.

Only time will tell if William Hill be show good results for 2011 or whether they will invest most of their efforts this year in bickering with their joint venture partners Playtech.
