Casino Robbed by Drunken Idiot

Many people attempt to commit crimes against casinos since they hold a lot of cash on the premises. This has been going on since the early days of European casinos and later on spread to any place where casinos operated.

However, in spite of a rich history of failed crimes against casinos some people will never learn that crime does not pay. One such person is an idiot who was identified by the authorities just as 35 years old Kory S. from South Dakota, US.

Mr. S must have indulged in some excessive alcohol drinking and marijuana smoking and decided to rob the Sioux Falls casino in South Dakota. He entered the casino unarmed and looked like he was about to fall off his feet. He demanded cash from a scared casino cashier who later stated that Kory was barely able to speak.

The casino cashier did not hesitate and handed Mr. S $400 in real cash and then Mr. S staggered out of the casino without any casino security stopping him. Luckily the local police proved to be much more competent than the casino’s private security guards and was able to apprehend Mr. S the following day.

Sadly most of the $400 that Mr. S stole was not recovered since he already spent it on more alcohol and drugs. He even admitted to using a cheap $10 crack hooker with the money he stole.

Local authorities said that Mr. S would probably be released from prison within two years as he did not have any criminal record and did not use any type of weapon while committing the crime. If he did use a weapon he could have faced up to 15 years in prison.
