William Hill enters agreement with Passoker

William Hill, the UK’s leading online and offline betting and gaming provider, has entered into a supply agreement with Passoker, provider of in-play betting services which will include its product as part of the William Hill Sportsbook as of February 2012.

Passoker provides card game services that are combined with in-play betting in order to provide punters with exciting new ways to make bets on live sporting events and other live events that people enjoy betting on (like the results of a national election, or the winner of any televised singing competition).

Although the service sounds complicated it is in fact a simple concept that works in the following way: A player selects which live event they are interested in betting on and decides the level of bets suitable for them. Once the player has made their selection they are assigned a random game table.

At the table each player will be dealt a card at random. Each card describes a possible move that might happen during the live event. For example if the players are betting on a football game then each card will have on it some action that can happen during the game: free-kick, corner, goal, offside, yellow card etc.

All the players make a wager on what will happen next in the game. The player that holds the card that describes what happened on the football pitch will win all the wagers. The cards are then randomly shuffled and a new round of betting begins.

Stuart Carr, CEO of Passoker said that the deal was “hugely significant agreement for Passoker” and William Hill Online COO Jim Mullen added that “Passoker is a highly innovative product and one that will bring much added value to William Hill Online.”
